computer hacking

Rootkit is a type of computer hacking. It seizes control of the operating system running on the hardware. The five types of rootkits are firmware, virtualized, kernel, library and application level kits.

A logic bomb is a piece of code that is put into a computer that sets of a negative function like deleting files when the specified conditions are met. To be considered a logic bomb, the payload should be unwanted and unknown to the user of the software.
